  • The first instrumental written by the band
  • The S&M CD misspells the song as "The Call Of The Ktulu"
  • The S&M version of the song won a grammy in 2001.
  • "Ktulu" is actually a misspelling itself. The song is named for the character
    Cthulu in H.P. Lovecraft's book
    "The Shadow Over Innsmouth". Kirk and Cliff were really into Lovecraft
